Culture tourism can be stated as the type of tourism in which we can explore  the enormous sorts of Cultures in the this world. It is arguably the original form of tourism, it has been there for a long time and culture tourism is thing where it all started from. This is an every green type of tourism in which the variation of the tourists coming is not much because conscious to know the culture of other countries will always be there in people. Cultural tourism includes tourism in urban areas, particularly historic or large cities and their cultural facilities such as museums and theaters. Culture tourism increases knowledge among other people about certain communities. It alone accounted for 37% of global tourism in some recent conducted surveys, and it is forecast that it would grow at a rate of 15% per year.

India is considered as one of top countries which attracts tourists by culture tourism,historical fares because of its diversity there are many culture dwelling there. Many religious place, museums, art galleries, historical monuments attract people to themselves. Some of them are Golden Temple (Amritsar), Taj Mahal (Agra), Red fort (Delhi), Indian Museum, Government museum(Chennai) and there are many more. Every year people from Europe, America and Africa come to India just to know its diverse culture. The famous Fairs that are arranged in India are Suraj Kund mela, Pushkar fair, Taj Mahotsav . States like Rajasthan, Punjab, Gujarat,Tamil Nadu are extremely famous for their rich cultures and Traditions. Culture tourism in India estimated to grow rapidly and it will continue to be the integral part of the tourism system as well as the economy of the country.
